We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java, a solid understanding of Android SDK, REST APIs, and modern mobile development practices. Experience with Firebase and third-party integrations is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive mobile interfaces.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services into Android applications.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and application optimization.
  • Work closely with backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
  • Publish, update, and maintain applications on the Google Play Store when required.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Material Design guidelines.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
  • Familiarity with Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Analytics, or Push Notifications.
  • Knowledge of local databases such as SQLite or Room Database.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Understanding of app architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
  • Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jetpack Compose is an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Exposure to cross-platform frameworks or AI-powered mobile features is an added advantage.
